Tomoharu Natsume is the main character in this action-packed, rather serious school narrative. His childhood buddy Misao Minakami, who died in an aviation accident three years prior and which Tomoharu narrowly avoided, haunts him. Tomoharu moves into Meiou-tei, a dorm, when he starts high school, taking advantage of the chance to live independently (his mother has recently remarried and doesn't want him interfering in her marital life, too). There, he begins to enjoy a carefree high school life. His life is turned upside down when Shuri Kurosaki, a stunning young woman, shows up with an enigmatic trunk that she claims Tomoharu's brother Naotaka Natsume instructed her to deliver to him. When Kanade Takatsuki, a young woman costumed as a shrine maiden, shows up looking for the trunk Tomoharu is holding, things get difficult. The trunk's hidden information about their planet is made public.
