Cestvs: The Roman Fighter

15-year-old slave combatant Cestvs wants nothing more than to leave his terrible life behind in the year 54 AD. Cestvs' owner has promised to grant him this request when he triumphs in 100 battles, though. But Cestvs rapidly accepts that his existence is meaningless because he is a slave. The prospect of independence is the only thing keeping him going after his friend's passing. Cestvs sets out to earn himself back with a burning desire to do so, even if it means engaging in slave combat for the amusement of onlookers.
