At a training facility, Touno Hikari is learning how to operate robots. Although she is unable to accomplish anything correctly, her teachers are intrigued by her for some reason. The pupils start to question the purpose of the training center as they learn how to control the robots. Marie Vlaanderen arrives to the facility, and according to her trainer, she has the highest chance of reawakening "it" because she has been training for her entire life.
