Mao becomes a Super Chef in order to succeed his mother Pai, who was known as the "Goddess of Cuisine," as the master chef of her restaurant after Pai's passing. But before he succeeds his mother as Master Chef, he continues to visit China to study more about the various cooking techniques in the hopes of following in his mother's footsteps and becoming a legendary chef. He meets wonderful friends and savage opponents along the way who want to compete with him in the kitchen.
