A novel technology has surfaced in the not too distant future. On social media, reports about mysterious phenomena known as "Hologram Ghosts" are circulating. Their veracity is unknown. Hiro Amanokawa, a middle school freshman at Hazakura Academy, has the ability to view unknown animals that are invisible to the untrained sight, the Digimon, by activating a mystery device left behind by his father called the "Digivice -V-."
