Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha

Middle school student Inari Fushimi has a number of flaws, including being awkward, having a mediocre intellect, and being exceedingly bashful. She always gets into trouble, but she also always has a positive attitude and is mindful of others. She can't ignore someone who asks for assistance. She also has feelings for Kouji Tanbabashi, whom she always admires for his positive attitude and extraordinary work ethic. But because she was so shy, she couldn't bring herself to express how she really felt. The first scene of Inari, KonKon, Koi Iroha has Inari cutting class short. She notices a fox pup on the verge of falling into a river as she travels by. She dives into the river despite being late and stops the young fox pup from being carried away. The goddess of the Inari Shrine, Uka-no-Mitama-no-Kami, is incredibly appreciative of Inari's devotion for the young dog, who turns out to be a familiar named Kon. She grants one of Inari's wishes as an expression of her thanks. However, making the wish come true only causes problems, and Inari quickly finds herself in a tight spot. Uka-no-Mitama-no-Kami grants Inari a portion of her divine power as atonement for her error, enabling her to change into anyone at pleasure.
