The narrative starts after the Holy Road soccer tournament has concluded. Returning to Raimon Junior High, Tenma discovers that circumstances have changed. There are no soccer players on the Raimon soccer team. In actuality, the school has no soccer club. Tenma and Shinsuke are with different clubs. Is this another dimension? Tenma is puzzled. At that point, Alpha shows up in front of him. El Dorado is a future organization created by the nations of the world to handle significant international issues, and for whatever reason, they have decided that soccer must be eliminated. They have given Protocol Omega, Alpha's crew, and the task of eradicating soccer from the planet to do this. Fei Rune, a person from the same future as El Dorado, arrives to aid Tenma out in order to help him save soccer and fight El Dorado. As a flying time machine, the Inazuma Caravan from Inazuma Eleven GO returns. As Tenma sets out on his quest to save soccer, he must learn the skills of keshin armed—using one's keshin as armor—and Mixi Maxing, which combines two people's auras with the Mixi Max gun.
