Hinomaruzumou

Sumo wrestler Hinomaru Ushio joins the sumo club at Odachi High on his first day of high school. Hinomaru strives to be the greatest in high school despite his tiny stature (professional sumo has a height restriction of 167 centimeters (5.5 feet)), in order to force the professional sumo association to allow him to compete and eventually get to the sport's highest rank of yokozuna. Shinya Ozeki, a third-year student and the club's only other member, however, notifies him that miscreants have taken over their dojo. Yuma Gojo, their leader and the "strongest" student at the school, is challenged by Hinomaru to a battle to reclaim the dojo, and he is defeated in one blow. After being brought to a practice match by Hinomaru and witnessing the strength of the wrestlers, Yuma, who is also humbled, decides to join the sumo club. They take part in a regional three-man team competition, but Ishigami High School eliminates them. During the two-day cultural event, they add two more members—the diminutive, unathletic Kei Mitsuhashi and the national wrestling champion Chihiro Kunisaki—in order to keep the club open.
