Hunter x Hunter: Greed Island Final

The narrative centers on Gon Freecss, a little child who was raised believing that both of his parents had passed away. Gon, however, leaves his home on Whale Island to take the Hunter Examination in order to become a Hunter like his father Ging Freecss after learning through Kite, one of his father's apprentices, that he is still alive and has subsequently developed into an accomplished Hunter. Gon meets and befriends three of the other candidates during the exam: Kurapika, the last survivor of the Kurta clan, who desires to become a Hunter in order to exact revenge on his clan and recover their scarlet-glowing eyes that were stolen from their corpses by a gang of thieves known as the Phantom Troupe; Leorio, a prospective doctor who desires the financial advantages that Hunters receive in order to pay for medical school; and Killua Zoldyck, Gon frequently runs into Hisoka, a dangerous and mysterious transmuter who shows an interest in him, among many other examinees. With the exception of Killua, who fails after killing another applicant under the influence of his brother, Illumi, and flees to his family's estate in shame after their many struggles together, Gon and his comrades successfully complete the exam.
