If Her Flag Breaks

An imaginary flag is an incident that serves as a turning point for the entire plot in graphic novels. The romance flag for a heroine will direct players to her route, and the death flag will indicate that a particular character will pass away later. Souta Hatate, a high school student, has the capacity to bring down these flags above someone's head in order to prevent certain occurrences from occurring. He has stopped the deaths of other people by using this ability. However, following a previous accident in which he was the only survivor, he came to the conclusion that only bad things would happen to people who were close to him, and he has avoided friendships and romantic connections ever since. After transferring to a new school, though, everything starts to change. His classmate Nanami Knight Bladefield recognizes his abilities after toppling another death flag and makes a promise to him that she will always be by his side. Thus begins Souta's journey as he makes new friends and acquaintances and learns more about the secrets surrounding his gift, which may be more complex than anybody could have imagined.
