Tsunayoshi Sawada is simply not good, to put it mildly. He is awkward, untalented, and hopelessly in love with Kyouko Sasagawa, the popular student and well out of his league. When Tsuna meets the enigmatic Reborn, a hitman and, astonishingly, a baby, his everyday existence takes an extraordinary turn. Reborn, who has been dispatched from the most powerful Mafia family in Italy, has been given the challenging task of getting the uninteresting middle schooler ready to succeed the ninth boss of the infamous Vongola family, who is about to retire. The path ahead for the dumb youngster is difficult, but perhaps even Loser Tsuna can succeed with the aid of his odd home tutor and new criminal allies.
