The full-body cyborg Nene Nanakorobi, a joyful young girl who hopes for world peace, meets inventor Uzal Delilah on a cruise ship sailing to the picturesque Cenancle Island. Along with Clarion, a battle android that resembles a cat and Uzal's pet cyborg, the two quickly become friends. A terrorist strike on the island shortly after the two split ways poses a threat to the pair's blossoming bond. Before appearing to pass away, Uzal grants Nene the opportunity to activate the Pandora Device discovered in Clarion's body in an effort to save her new companion. Nene has the ability to briefly master skills and abilities that have never been seen before in the rapidly developing planet. Together, the two unusual partners complete a variety of missions for the sake of world peace, such as rescuing children from burning shopping malls and thwarting rash thieves. But achieving this objective is not simple. Their idyllic lives are in danger thanks to B.U.E.R, a sentient laser that appears as a deformed teddy bear and is endowed with unstoppable strength. And to make matters worse, Takumi Korobase, Nene's guardian and a brilliant inventor, has an unwavering interest in B.U.E.R. Nene and Clarion's quest for world peace appears like a pipe dream when they are preoccupied with protecting B.U.E.R from evil forces and preserving the globe.
