The elusive phantom thief Joker pulls off daring heists on priceless treasure after valuable treasure under the cover of the brilliant night. Dokusaburou Oniyama, a tenacious police detective, frequently backs the self-described "Miracle Maker" into a corner, but he frequently uses his arsenal of showy escape techniques to walk the border between science and magic.
