Recovery of an MMO Junkie

Moriko Morioka, 30, is unemployed for the first time since graduating from high school, and she couldn't be happier. After leaving her long-term employment of more than 11 years, Moriko rapidly turns to online games to fill her newfound free time. She reinvents herself as the attractive and dashing male hero "Hayashi" in the MMO Fruits de Mer. She joyously plunges into the gaming world after the bothersome societal obligations of the real world are out of the way, where she immediately encounters the sweet and charming healer Lily. The two become fast friends and unable to be separated as Moriko immerses herself more and more in her new "life" as Hayashi. Moriko eventually takes on the whole hermit lifestyle, leaving the security of her apartment only when absolutely necessary. Yuuta Sakurai, a shy 28-year-old corporate employee, has also logged onto Fruits de Mer from the other side of town, but Moriko is unaware of this. One night, they simply happen to run into one other at the convenience store. Both dismiss their experience as nothing more than just another awkward contact with a stranger, but fate has bigger plans for them than they realize.
