Ookamikakushi

Hiroshi Kuzumi, 15, and his family relocate to the mountain village of Jouga due to his father's employment. While some teenagers might worry about fitting in or experience a sense of alienation in a new setting, Hiroshi is warmly greeted at school by the majority of his new peers. In fact, it seems like they just can't get enough of him, and he makes two friends rather quickly: the clingy and overly-affectionate Isuzu Tsumuhana, who is also his neighbor; and Kaname Asagiri, who also recently moved to Jouga. Overall, Hiroshi's new life appears to be very typical—that is, until individuals start going missing. Hiroshi is informed that the vanished town residents have merely relocated or were transferred, but he can't help but feel uneasy. Meanwhile, in the dead of night under a red moon, masked individuals led by a girl with a scythe stalk their prey in the darkened streets of Jouga. Are any of the locals safe from their fury and who are they?
