Haruhi Fujioka is a diligent young woman who just joined in the esteemed Ouran Academy. One day, while searching for a serene location to study, she discovers what appears to be an empty music room. When Haruhi arrives, she is greeted by members of the renowned Host Club, a group of hot boys that entertain girls from all across the campus. The club's founder and president, Tamaki Suou, startles the talented scholarship recipient, breaking an exquisite vase in the process. The Host Club members come up with the ideal answer to the girl's difficulty when payback for the loan appears to be challenging for Haruhi: work for the club and eventually become a Host! Haruhi, who is mistaken for a boy by her peers, must amuse a variety of female students while putting up with the outlandish personalities of her fellow Hosts.
