Tsukasa Mizugaki, who is 18 years old, failed his college admission examinations, but with a little help, he is able to get a job at the Sion Artificial Intelligence Corporation. The "Giftias"—highly developed androids that are essentially indistinguishable from regular humans—were made by SAI Corp. Giftias, on the other hand, have a maximum lifespan of 81,920 hours, or around nine years and four months, in contrast to humans. Tsukasa's station, Terminal Service One, is in charge of gathering Giftias that have reached their expiration date before they lose their memories and turn hostile. Tsukasa partners with a stunning Giftia named Isla soon after joining Terminal Service One. Despite her tiny frame and calm demeanor, she has experience with the Terminal Service and is regarded as the greatest Giftia retrieval. Time is limited, though, so Tsukasa needs to face his love for Isla quickly before it's too late. No matter how much something is desired, it will not always exist.
