The Sablum Empire has been attempting to conquer the realm of Windland for many years, and they are currently planning a fresh offensive employing strong magical beings called Angels with the help of the mercenaries Sister Hell and Darkness Knight. The Knight's Academy in Windland is where Hyaweh, a careless but gifted swordsman, and Priecia, who might be the long-lost princess of Windland, are studying to improve their swordsmanship and sorcery. They make many of new friends and allies there who can aid them in defending their country from the approaching attack.
