Psychic talents may appear to be a blessing to the normal person, but for Kusuo Saiki, the opposite is true. He considers his wide range of supernatural gifts—which include everything from telepathy to x-ray vision—to be a curse rather than a blessing. Kusuo only wants a typical, hassle-free life—a life where ignorance is bliss—as all the troubles his powers create keep piling up. Unfortunately, a psychic's life is anything from tranquil. Although Kusuo tries to avoid notice by keeping his abilities a secret from his classmates, he unintentionally draws the attention of numerous strange personalities, including the naive Riki Nendou and the hallucinatory Shun Kaidou. Kusuo discovers that living an average life, which he has been striving for, is more harder to attain than he had anticipated after being forced to deal with the madness of those around him.
