Sayonara Watashi no Cramer

Women's soccer's standing in Japan has been steadily declining over time. Despite this very dismal situation, some schools still have teams that are making an effort to maintain the sport. With it, rays of optimism have begun to emerge. Nozomi Onda's abilities are nothing short of amazing; in middle school, she played for the boys' soccer team. She believes that playing soccer with other girls would only make her feel worse about it. She is only driven to perform her best when competing against opponents she considers deserving. Sumire Suou, a talented rookie with great potential, is handicapped by a squad that is unable to keep up with her skills. Onda, persuaded by her previous coach to join a girls' soccer club, and Suou, who is accompanied by her close friend and competitor Midori Soshizaki, come into contact while playing for the girls' soccer team at Warabi Seinan High School. Both females start to exhibit their full potential and skill set in this new field. Each of their steps, kicks, and goals will help them win with their teammates and, hopefully, start the sport's path back into the spotlight.
