Though she is too bashful to approach boys, Komaki Manaka daydreams about her classmate Kono Takaaki. They decide to hold training sessions there while Takaaki-kun assists her in the library, addressing each other by first names. The conversation between Manaka and Takaaki-kun outside the library is overheard by Takaaki's friend Kosaka Yuji, who then informs his classmates how close the two have grown.
