Jiang Xiaobai lost all of his memories ten years ago as a result of a terrifying occurrence he can no longer recall. He is eager to start a new chapter in his life because in two days, after completing his probationary period, he will begin working as an editor in Editorial Office No.2 of Wen Zheng Magazine, a literary journal published in Chongqing. He doesn't pay much thought to the girl whose face he frequently sees in dreams. That evening, a senior Jiang Xiaobai gives him the assignment of racing to the airport to accompany the eccentric upcoming author Tong Li as she launches her debut Chinese serialized novel after returning from the United States. Jiang Xiaobai steps in to take his place as Tong Li's new editor as retribution for the senior's neglect of his own obligations. Despite their rocky beginning, Jiang Xiaobai quickly becomes familiar to Tong Li as a beloved high school classmate. Before they realize it, Jiang Xiaobai progressively unearths information about a long-forgotten girl from his past, setting the course of fate in motion.
