Lyrical Lily, a DJ group from Arisugawa Academy, is renowned for using music to make people happy. As a result of their efforts, Operation Beckoning Cat, the town regeneration project, has asked the local city hall to hire them to perform once a month for a year. Unfortunately, Lyrical Lily worries that they won't be able to live up to the demands of the lengthy and rigorous event. They choose to invite the DJ groups Happy Around, Photo Maiden, Peaky P-key, Rondo, and Merm4id in an effort to increase their chances of success. The other units are intrigued by the perfect opportunity and happily agree to Lyrical Lily's request.
