Biao Ren: Blades of the Guardians

Warriors known as "escorts" are paid to kill the people the government wants dead. A wandering warrior by the name of Dao Ma is attempting to pay back a man by the name of Mo who cared for him and his child, Xiao Qi. However, as they travel back to Mo's town, they come upon a man-eating monster, or "rakshasa," victim. Dao Ma gets entangled in the fear that is engulfing the nation in the final years of the Sui dynasty due to the emergence of rakshasa victims, violence, slavery, and brutal warriors.
