Humans and anthropomorphic bears once coexisted. The world's bears, however, experienced an odd reaction to a meteor shower that struck Earth: they all of a sudden became aggressive and ravenous for human flesh, starting an endless cycle of carnage in which bears devoured humans and men shot bears, forgetting the friendly relationship they had in the past. As a result, the "Wall of Severance" was constructed to keep the two civilizations apart and at peace. Two lovers who attend Arashigaoka Academy, Kureha Tsubaki and Sumika Izumino, discover that their relationship is seriously jeopardized when two bears show up after breaching the Wall of Severance and entering the school. Ginko Yurishiro and Lulu Yurigasaki, two hungry but affectionate bears, appear to view the bear-hating Kureha as more than just another meal. As they grow closer to her, secrets start to come out that Kureha might not be able to handle. In order to receive real love's "promised kiss," the girls must stand trial with their partners after their connections upset the Invisible Storm, an organization that maintains order in the ideological school.
